Row with us at Lake Purdy!  LPRA is a member of USRowing and a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed in 2013 to facilitate and promote the sport of rowing in the Greater Birmingham area.   
 

Membership is open to persons who complete a Learn-to-Row course and/or pass LPRA’s rowing proficiency test and satisfy all application requirements.

Your dues help cover LPRA’s expenses, including fleet and equipment purchases and maintenance, USRowing membership, insurance, property, facilities, utilities, services, and administrative expenses.  
 

• New Full Members pay a one-time $100 infrastructure fee.  
• Annual dues are $336  ($28/month ).  
• You may pay your fee and dues lump sum OR automatically each month via SportsEngine.

• A Temporary Membership is available for students;  dues are $180 for 3 consecutive months, non-renewable in a calendar year.
• A Non-Resident Membership is available for out-of-town visitors who will row at Lake Purdy 5 to 15 times in a calendar year;  dues are $90/yr.
